Acupuncture Side Effects
Acupuncture is an age-old modality that has been used for thousands of years. With the popularity of modern medicine or western medicine, some find it difficult to understand how needles would be used to fix anything. Many people ask:
Are there side effects to Acupuncture?
The answer is no, not many if any and it is very rare to experience side effects. Typically during an acupuncture treatment people will find themselves feeling very relaxed. Due to this relaxed state, sometimes feel a bit dizzy upon rising but this feeling does subside quickly. Other side effects that are rare: bruising or bleeding around the needle site or occasional heightened levels of energy. Well who doesn’t want more energy? Acupuncture really is a safe and effective modality used to treat any and all health illnesses, besides an emergency of course.
Our Franklin Acupuncture clinic has an Acupuncturist who has been in practice for 12 years so the chances of side effects are minimal. Please come see us at The Holistic Clinic in Franklin.
