The Holistic Clinic Franklin

Acupuncture is becoming more widely experienced by people and accepted worldwide.  Yet all Acupuncturists practice differently and there are many questions about Acupuncture.  As a standard, an acupuncture treatment should be calming and relaxing.  The patient will first be instructed to fill out the paperwork.  This paperwork allows the Acupuncturist to look at any problems or complaints and the patient’s past medical history.  The patient and the Acupuncturist then meet one on one to discuss the conditions that the patient would like to be treated.  This typically lasts for about 15-20 minutes.  The Acupuncture session then begins where the Acupuncturist will insert very thin needles into specific points.  The needles stay in for about 20-25 minutes.  The patient should feel very relaxed and calm while endorphins are released in the brain.  After the allotted time the needles are then removed.  The patient should be feeling very relaxed.  Acupuncture is very effective for many different ailments including:

Headaches

Anxiety

Depression

Stress

Digestive Issues

Chronic Fatigue

Fertility

Pain (neck, back, limb)

and much more…
