At The Holistic Clinic, we are pleased to offer Soliman’s Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT), developed by Dr. Nader Soliman who founded and developed this treatment over the last 25 years. This highly specific procedure can treat sensitivities to food, environmental, household allergies and Alpha Gal.
Auricular (ear) Acupuncture is so effective because there are four cranial nerves that innervate the ear and are connected to the brain. By tapping into these points on the ear, the Acupuncturist is able to access areas of the brain that helps to regulate the autonomic nervous system.
SAAT allergy classes are only offered by Dr. Nader Soliman and therefore this is a specialized training and treatment modality, with a high rate of success. Using this protocol, one needle is used to treat the particular allergy of the patient. This treatment can be used on young children as well as adults.
Acupuncture for Alpha Gal (SAAT Allergy Treatment)
SAAT has been used successfully to treat Alpha Gal, an allergic reaction in which people become allergic to the alpha gal sugar that is found in the tissues of mammals (cows, pigs, lamb, deer) but not in other humans or primates. It is also known as a ‘red meat’ allergy, that originates from a tick bite, causing an allergic reaction when a person attempts to eat red meat. Symptoms range from nausea, vomiting, hives, diarrhea and GI upset. Some individuals have an allergic reaction 3-6 hours after eating meat while those with a severe allergy have an anaphylactic reaction that can require immediate emergency treatment. An Alpha Gal allergy can be quite an inconvenience because it can cause allergies to dairy products, gelatin, glandular supplements and medical products that have mammal in them. Luckily the SAAT allergy treatment for Alpha Gal has been proven to be highly effective. One Needle for 3 weeks and many individuals who were once suffering, can slowly begin eating red meat again.
